guys u neva belive me but i saw herobrine last week i forgot 2 tell u guys this but i was all alone on the server i went to macari and i saw herobrine i pressed tab his name nave showed up then i type /who nuttin then typed /player nuttin then i moved my mouse on him and it said his name and i was shocked it had his skin and then i looked behinde and 'poof' he's not there and i was like wht then i just went off the server then forgot about it i know it's too late but somebody can u explain to me wht just happen is it really him or a fake plz respond!

Listen. Herobrine isn't in classic. Notch never even intended on implementing it into beta. It just became big because of the video. It was probably a bot. Believe me there is not herobrine in classic. As far as I know they took it out of SMP too. It's gotta be your mind playing tricks on you or something.

Some people use it as a skin. Maybe it was lagging and you saw the skin while the user was gone. Or it was a bot. Not much mystery to be found in classic. I've seen a group of players in freebuild only to have them disappear when I ban one, (bots) also for most of them "player could not be found", which is similar to that.
Whatever it was, I would say it came from special user interference rather than being anything coded into normal classic. I think herobrine was conceived of after classic was made, so that it couldn't possibly exist within it outside of any alterations.

Yeah i believe it was a skin used to trick people into thinking Herobrine in classic. Herobrine mod can only be used to see Herobrine.
