Server downtime. Explained.

Everyone, As you may have noticed, the Minecraft Server List has changed significantly. This completely breaks our heartbeat system. As soon as we have gotten a new heartbeat that works, we will release the update of 5.2.0.0 to fix this immediately. This may mean a few bugs might slip past us. Please bear with us we will have this out shortly.

EDIT:

The release of 5.2.0.0 will be delayed until further notice, as we are unable to test the latest build due to minecraft.net being broken, and our hosting won't let us upload any files so we can't release anyways. Hopefully all of this will be resolved soon...

on mCforge they were testiong 5.2, and it was horrible. Wom has a shitload of bugs. They said wom might NOT EVEN WORK. These new versions have many many bugs.

So this is why my WoM isn't working.

Actually the reason wom has a fatal error is because wom is fixing the bug from 5.2. Thats why wom will be down for a while and version 5.2 will take some time as well. i guess the best thing to do is rage at notch OR just play without awesome wom. AND HOW DA HELL DOES D0DDY HAVE THAT MUCH STARS?????

WoM is in no way associated with MCForge par the fact they use it. WoM has released 2.0.1 which also includes a new cloud system in which you send the heartbeat to 'http(s)://direct.worldofminecraft.com/hb.php'
which evades Minecraft.net's awful downtimes. Most likely server owners will have to pay a fee of some sort if they want the cloud access and they probably need the money (o.o) they do a good job.
Anyway the new Token system will be really helpful, especially when WoM is down.
