Designer Map Application Template (w/ rules)

Please answer the following questions in your application. Provide your name and "map application" in the title.

4.Who promoted you to Designer?

5.What were you promoted to designer for? (please provide either a description and the map name, or a screenshot)

6a.Will you be allowing anyone to use your map who is beneath designer rank? (see rule g)

6b.(only answer if yes above) Are you qualified to help them improve in building, and can you assure us that you will do so?


Map/Application Rules


a.If approved you will first be given a 128 square map, if you fill that one up you will be given another map, larger or the same size depending upon your ability displayed in the previous one. It is not necessary to apply for a second map, you only need to ask in chat.

b.If you leave it blank for an excessive amount of time, it will be deleted. If left unused but not excessively empty, it will be locked. In both cases you will need to explain why it was unused in your original application for the map if it is to be returned. Your explanation will need to be accepted for the map to be returned.

c.If you don't seem able, or willing, to consistently build at the designer level according to the staff's opinion, then you will practice in the designer maps until you are able to easily build at the designer skill level, even if you have made one approved designer level build. If you harass the staff over reviews you may be refused reviews for a period of time.

d.Even though it is "your map", it is still subject to server rules at the discretion of the staff.

e.Do not copy builds that aren't yours into the map without the permission of the individual who made it.

f.If you are going to use physics, do not abuse it or do anything to lag the rest of the server overmuch.

g.If you allow others of a lower rank to use your map and it is seen as impeding their progress, or they are seen to be misusing it, you will be held responsible for their misusing it, and for others to visit your map will be restricted accordingly.

e.If you have been approved for a map already, it will be assumed that you're a qualified designer, and the application will not need to include those questions (in yellow) whose purpose is to determine if you were easy promoted, since that would be redundant.

Excessive violations will result in your map being locked.
